DiveRACE Liveaboard – Welcome on board
MV DiveRACE Liveaboard design was conceptualized with the help of a team of naval architects and Dutch vessel consultant. She is constructed following international standards closely, with the aim of being a luxury liveaboard of excellent quality, providing the best for each passenger on board during liveaboard trips.
Launched in 2015, MV DiveRace Liveaboard is a 34.5m by 7.5m steel hull ocean going vessel built with strength, stability and comfort in mind. She can easily accommodates 28 guests in 10 well-appointed ensuite cabins all with air-condition and most of them with private balcony.


Enjoy open air dining area at the stern of the main deck. Several sofas await you inside the air-conditioned saloon for relaxing or watching TV.
The Upper deck boasts a covered and open area ideal for watching photos and footage from your diving or just relaxing, star gazing and soaking up the wonderful Similans or Mergui Archipelago atmosphere.
The sundeck is perfect for catching those sun rays or having a nap.
All dives are done from MV DiveRaces’s large dinghy, giving you more living space on board and getting you to the perfect dive spot every time.

Booking information
To book your DiveRace Liveaboard trip, we need 50% deposit for an early booking if more than 90 days before the trip departure and the balance to be paid 90 days before the trip departure. As soon as you confirm us the booking, you will receive an invoice from PayPal that you can pay through your PayPal account or by credit cards.

Please note that the National Park Fee is set by the National Park and is subject to change without notice.
Park fees are payable cash at your arrival on the boat
To book your DiveRace Liveaboard diving holiday, please contact us to check availability. On receipt of your reservation request and if there is available cabin, we will hold the place for 48 hours. However, the booking will be final only after receipt of payment.
Be aware that this Liveaboard boat is in great demand. For Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year (February) periods – the boat is very often full over 6-9 months in advance.

5 days Similan Islands trip
Day 1
Scheduled pick up (between 4-8pm – please refer to below)
Transfer to Thap Lamu pier, near Khao Lak, to MV DiveRACE Class E for welcome and Dinner on board
Sail overnight to Similan Islands (sailing time between 4 – 5 hours)
Day 2
3 day dives + 1 night dive
Dives (Anita’s Reef / elephant head rock / west of eden / Snapper Alley) around Similan Islands + Visit to Island #8 (Sail Rock)
Day 3
4 day dives
Dives around Similan Islands (Xmas Point / North Point) & Koh Bon (North Reef / Ridge / Pinnacle) & Koh Tachai (Reef)
Day 4
4 day dives
Dives around Koh Tachai (Pinnacle / Reef) & Richelieu Rock.
Day 5
2 day dives
Boonsung wreck or MV Sea Chart wreck and Premchai wreck. Return to Thap Lamu pier by 1.30pm. Transfer back to hotel by 5pm/ Airport by 3.30pm.
* Note: if you have to fly on the day of arrival (day 4) you will NOT be able to dive the last 2 dives. This is to allow for your minimum surface interval/No Fly Time (as recommended by PADI).

Important notice
The above itineraries are an example of a usual dive cruise. The Captain and the Cruise Leader will decide the best course of action based on weather conditions at the specific time of each trip.
In case of bad weather conditions, the Liveaboard trip can be altered or canceled for the safety of all passengers, crews, and the vessel.


MV DiveRace Description
TWIN LUXURY CABIN
The largest type of cabins that is located on the main deck level with private balcony and bathroom. The beds within the twin luxury cabin can be configured to be 2 single beds or 1 double bed. Guests are ensured to have a comfortable night rest as our fitted linen is of hotel quality.
Each individual is provided a bath towel and a pool towel to use during the trip. Each of our cabins is also fitted with life jackets and a safe deposit box with individual air-con controls. We have a total of 6 twin luxury cabins on board.
TWIN ENSUITE CABIN
The twin ensuite cabin comes with 2 single beds in double deckers style. The number of guests that sleep within the cabin depends on the trip destination and customers’ request. It comes with its own private bathroom.
Each of our cabins is also fitted with life jackets and a safe deposit box with individual air-con controls. We have a total of 4 twin ensuite cabins on board.
SALOON
Comfortable air-conditioned entertainment area for guests to enjoy movies and games, the saloon is a popular place to hang out in between dives. There is a counter table that guests can use for their laptops or camera setup.
SUN DECK
Being at the highest deck on the boat, it is the best place to have a suntan while enjoying the sea breeze. Chill out on the outdoor sofa and see the breathtaking view of the surrounding sea. As the evening approaches, our special BBQ cooking would take place at the sundeck!
DINING AREA
Our crew will serve when guests are seated at the table. Sumptuous western or Asian meals made by our capable chefs ensure that guests always enjoy their food. Get a freshly ground coffee on the house or a bottle of red wine to celebrate on board.
DIVE DECK
The Dive deck was carefully designed to ensure a spacious area for divers to gear up before each dive. We are able to support the requirements of recreational and rebreather divers alike.
