The Junk - June Hong Chian Lee Liveaboard: Description, Schedule & Booking
Comfort class Liveaboard Thailand Similan Islands by All4Diving
Luxury 5 or 7 days Liveaboard Holidays to Similan Islands and Surin Islands
Book 90 days prior the departure and get 5% discount.
The Junk has six cabins, most of our customers these days book private double or twin share cabins, as a result on most Similan liveaboard cruises we only have 12 customers total on our 33 meter ship.
Life on Board
We realise that life is more than just eating and sleeping, so added the diving for you. All the other cumbersome duties people have do to get through life you can leave behind. Isn´t that what a true holiday is all about? Being kept busy, well fed and rested so you can forget about that other life, at least for a week.
So lets get back to basics first of all food. Food is the most important aspect of having a good life. This is especially true here in Thailand. We make it our mission to let you experience as many different dishes as we possibly can do in a week. Most heard comment "The food tastes better than most 5 star restaurants I have been too"
Sleeping, The Junk has a wide choice of accommodation. Still most people opt for the double bed or twin share option. All our rooms have air-condition and attached bathrooms with hot water shower and toilet. Minimalistic in design but extremely comfortable.
Food on board - We rate it 5 star !!!
On The Junk you will never get hungry we guarantee that. In between meals there is always fresh fruit available, cookies in a jar, and after the night dive there will be some "sugar" waiting for you. This could be donuts (yes from Dunkin!) banana cake, cheese cake, custard, fruits in heavy syrup, nuts for the people who have a drink after the dive and so on...
Liveaboard diving Holiday
The very best dive area in all of Thailand is the Similan Islands in the Andaman Sea. The best way to dive the Similans is by liveaboard.
The Junk´s staff will take you to those destinations in style. When we get there we drop you of by dinghy and pick you up wherever you surface. We did it this way long before it became mandatory in the National Parks for safety reasons.
The guides are experienced in the region and through extensive briefings and debriefings will give you insights in the local marine life like nobody else does. Combine that with the fact that on most cruises there is more staff on board than customers and you can see why the most demanding customers choose the Junk and it´s liveaboard diving experience to visit those amazing sites..

Liveaboard junk is completely renovated and can carry 18 divers.
For that we have 2 private double bed cabins, 2 three berths cabins (can be sold as so called Shared Twins and can also be turned into a Private Double Bed) and 2 four berths cabins (which are all bunks but can also be sold as Shared Twin).
All cabins are fully air-conditioned and have their own hot water shower and toilet en-suite.
Just imagine your treading the same boards as those intrepid sailors did over fifty years ago; although instead of having to carry heavy charcoal about and endure hot and cramped living quarters, its quite the opposite. The liveaboard cabins are now more than ample with their own private bathrooms, and the heaviest thing you will need to lift are the pages of a book or magazine! As for sweating? forget it, the boat´s air-conditioned throughout and there´s always plenty of shade on the decks. If however, you need to escape the sunshine (and lets face it everyone does at some point!) and the shades just not enough, there´s a selection of onboard entertainment lurking behind the hand carved facades of shelves, cabinets and draws in the salon. There´s an extensive library of books, Mini Discs and Video´s all readily available; many a returning guest now familiar with the systems, know they are more than welcome to bring their own choices.
Every day the wake up call is around 6:30, small breakfast at 7AM and ...
08:00 - 1st dive
09:00 - Big Breakfast

The order in which the ship visits the dive spots depends on weather conditions and the interest of the dive sites - meeting with manta rays and whale sharks spotted on the dive sites.
All the Similan Islands are covered, including Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and the famous Richelieu Rock.
